Hi guys, already my second post here!
I got my GDemu Dreamcast mod and I noticed the well-known "issue" of the overheating.
Which PSU should I buy to sort that?
DreamPSU which is cheep (?)
DreamPower which is more expensive (?)
Thanks!

Re: Dreamcast PSU replacement recommendations
I know this is a late reply, but I only just came across it. There are actually another two options.
Stay away from the DreamPSU, it's not highly regarded & should be avoided.
There is also the DC Mini BCU made by the Behar Bros, but I don't think they are available anymore.

Then there is the Pico PSU option. I'm currently using one of these along with a PicoDreamcast adapter board in my DC which works great.
I was however considering a DreamPower to have an all-in-one solution but can't seem to find much info about them. They are a little expensive though.

Re: Dreamcast PSU replacement recommendations
It's not particularly 'bad', but a durable replacement would be a donor PSU from another unit. The dream PSU is just fine as long as you get the right external adapter.shadoweez wrote:me too. crap.
