As was said in petter3k's last post: it's being worked on, and there'll be an announcement once everything's working up to par.

I'm not directly involved in any of the AFO server-side stuff, but I can assure you that things are moving along.

It'll be a good day when any of his projects are finished. I have a brand new GD waiting for this to be done

Some footage of the game being played online in 2001 was recently uploaded to YouTube. It's a little pixelated but it's cool to see what the game is like when played online. There's even some voice chat.

I seen that over on online consoles. Now only if the voice chat is even remotely as good as the official severs though.
