Hey I'm trying to get on but forgot I'm using a new Dreamcast to play, when I entered the serial number and access key it recognizes my memory but keeps on saying press A to reload and nothing happens. Do I need to start a new file?

Yeah, your character is linked to one Dreamcast so you'll need to make a new one.
