Quake III Arena or Phantasy Star Online?

Hello everyone, I just joined! I recently got a dreamcast and i am wondering for when i get online in a few days (i have to order the parts) should i get quake III arena or spend a little more for phantasy star online? Thanks!

Definitely PSO since its well worth the price of admission. Quake 3 in the other hand is a twitch shooter similar to the vain of COD, and would have been better money spent for the PC port rather than the DC port.

Burn a copy of Q3 and buy a copy of PSO

V2 would be your best bet, however V1 isn't as far off in price. You wont be able to take place in most of the events and download quests without V@, nor would you be able to join a room while a matchmaking event is going on between Sylverant and/or Dreamcast Talk. I just so happen to have both but ultimately stuck with V2 since it's the most stable build on the DC.

V1 basically has no benefits compared to V2, except for the nostalgia associated with exploiting its many glitches for those of us who played it back in the day. In terms of actual content, V2 is superior in every way. V1 does have slightly better graphics, but it suffers from more slowdown as a result.
