VGA Scan Generator / Doubler?

Hi,

I want to get one of these but don't know which one is best. Has anyone had any experience of this? If so what would you recommend?

I have looked at the Hanzo which seems decent.

Don't you mean scanline generator?...

A VGA box already outputs a progressive signal. So no need for a scan doubler AFAIK...

best choice for dreamcast video is the Hanzo VGA,.

If you are a nut for achieving the best quality possible, then you can always spend a little more and get the Toro. I heard nothing but incredible reviews on it and even adds the one thing the Hanzo is lacking, a fail-safe video compatibility switch method for those one dozen games that don't support VGA out. It's not perfect since this workaround won't fix half of the games that absolutely can not be forced into VGA.

I personally have a Hanzo and the image quality is crystal; plus the scanline generator on it is nice for 2D fighters.
