Any update on this? There was some testing awhile back I saw on twitter.

That was probably my post. That never happened because there was a lot more work than he initially anticipated. I recommend just keeping an eye out on his website for updates.

As was said in petter3k's last post: it's being worked on, and there'll be an announcement once everything's working up to par.

I'm not directly involved in any of the AFO server-side stuff, but I can assure you that things are moving along.

Some footage of the game being played online in 2001 was recently uploaded to YouTube. It's a little pixelated but it's cool to see what the game is like when played online. There's even some voice chat.
