Also bungie isn't working on the halo series anymore A new company called 343(guilty-spark?)-the makers of timeshift I think Are now making it and Rebooting it also I think! Looking at the halo 4 trailer It looks like the story's are going to be more similar to the Halo 1 story! and the gameplay for anniversary looks better then reach and halo 3 combined!

yeah man, I've already reserved my Halo CE Anniversary pre order... that shit is gonna be the nuts! I loved Halo CE and thought its only negative points were the lack of online functionality, but we still went nuts for it on split screen co-op, me and my mate are looking forward to old school Halo-ing it.

Did you know its the SAME engine for the controls and game mechanics/physics? Just a new layer of graphics over the top which you can actually switch between? Mental

And yeah can't wait for the 4th Halo to come out, really wanna just get back into the story and see where Master Chief ends up. Probably gonna end up fighting the forerunners as the covenant has finally been broken.

Side note: I've also reserved Mass Effect 3, Modern Warfare 3 and GOW 3, can't wait!!

One thing I'm confused though is that in the SP we've seen the regular Halo 1 guns remade of course. But in MP we have the Reach guns including the (ugly ass)Reach assault rifle.

What gives?

I haven't seen these yet as I'm at work but my understanding of the anniversary edition is that you can press a button and it will switch from the new graphics engine immediately back to the old one, so if your not happy with the guns just switch back to the old Xbox engine lol

I personally would like 4, but not the remake. I think the original should be left alone, just add all the maps for multiplayer.

I'm more annoyed with the idea of another community split. It was brilliant to make ODST have halo 3 for online play, but he comunity did get a little jagged once most moved to reach.

I'd love to see the online play be a Reach patch and just upload maps for download so those with reach will still play online with 4 players.

Thy really don't need to improve Reaches online play anyways.

lol dude don't worry Halo CE is going to be awesome, the original didn't have online mp or co-op just local, which is one of the main reasons why I'm really looking forward to the remake so much, fully co-op campaign and online mp. The other reason is because they have done NOTHING to the engine in terms of control etc, they simply added a new coat of paint, one that can be switched on or off at the touch of a button, and for only £30 instead of the usual £40-£45 I think its a steal

halo ce anniversary is really awesome... thing is, i've played the campaign of the original halo soooo many times since it was released that i'm honestly kind of burnt out on the story line. that being said, the original helped to revolutionize the face of first person shooters on consoles.

flipping between the two graphics codes is incredibly fun, and satisfying as you can witness the incredible progress that the gaming industry has made in terms of graphics.

Legendary is definitely a step up from the original... that goes without saying. However, it's not as ridiculous as legendary on Reach. I find this game progressively difficult, as the first two levels are pretty manageable (especially if you're completing the Bro-Achievements aka playing Co-Op). At Truth and Reconciliation, things take a much more difficult turn... this is kind of frustrating but excites me to see what further levels like The Library and The Maw will have in store.

aaah that's a point, are there any stupid achievements like there were in Reach and GOW3 that require 4 of you to complete it on insane? I only really want to be able to just complete it as a 2 man team, I don't want the hassle of having to find four frickin people who wanna play a 10 year old campaign all over again lol.
