NGPC Neo Geo Pocket Color and DC?

I just saw at

that some games from the Neo Geo Pocket Color work with the DC. I would love to make this happen at my house.

Can anyone comment on what games work, and how they work? I saw a few posts on the forums here about two DCs linked, but I am talking about linking the NGPC.

After that, I'll start eBay trolling around (I am in USA)....

you need a dc > ngpc link cable which usually sell for $100 or so (if you find one that is)
it is NOT the cable in the bottom of the wiki page, that ones for linking 2 neogeo pockets together

NGPCs are cheap. So I grabbed one and some games also from eBay. Nice little system. Biggest drawbacks are
1. Lack of backlight (shopping for some kind of clip-on LED).
2. Lack of active web site like this awesome DC one.


And yeah, that DC<->Neo Geo Pocket cable is *expensive*.

I have a few sets of of the DC NGPC link cables. The boxes are a little yellowed from sun damage and have the price tag from the local store I bought them from permanently baked on but they are all BNIB.

If anyone is interested in one I might be down for some trading. I prefer that over just selling them. I have never liked selling my collectables and find trading to be more fun.

I loved the NGPC I bought mine when gamestop were shipping them back to SNK when they went backrupt but I gave to a friend and never got it back, my favorite games were golf, tennis, and that SNK card game on it very addicting. If you want a backlight I would just find someone to mod one in the system for you I did that when the original GBAV came out had a backlight with a switch installed in it worked great. I still think it had the best controller on any portable system I have even played with.
