Toy Racer Server info

Have you found out yet why some of us can't connect?

Several people seem to be having the same issue where they can't get past the "Dialing" stage. I would have to guess that Toy Racer is trying to use the modem instead of the broadband adapter for some reason. Unfortunately I haven't been able to replicate that problem so I have no idea how to fix it.

why would it try to use the modem, if it is not connected? I mean my bba is in my dreamcast 24/7

I'd set up a pc-dc server, but I only got a mac and a linux machine here...

That's the question isn't it? It's really just a theory so I could be completely wrong. It's obviously a problem with either the Dreamcast itself or the user's internet connection since it never even gets to the point where it asks for a server IP address.

I managed to connect the other day to Pcwzrd13's server but since then I can't connect to either server!

I enter the IP address, DNS and nickname and it displays the server with a ? next to it. But it fails to connect.

I'm using a BBA into my router. PSO connects with no problems.

Same here. Is anyone playing this game still? For the Brazil server It shows the server with a ? next to it and for PC's it says 100% but then fails when I try to connect past that. This is currently how my router is configured. I just got this game so any help would be appreciated. I've also had some trouble connecting to Quake lately but that should probably go on another thread. PSO with the boot disc has worked forever though.

Sorry. The server software crashes randomly so I have to start it again sometimes. Should be working now.

Great just connected and hosted a game room

I notice there is a US sever (yours) and a Brazilan Server I wanted to know if you would also like a UK (Europe) server as we would be happy to host the server here.
