Yeah, the timer on the site went down to 0 but I forgot to post here saying that it ended. You still might have a chance though. I'm awaiting a reply from devilhunter to see if he'll approve extending the competition. If he does then I'll accept your entry. It's completely up to him since he's in first place.

It all depends. For one, I feel a game like the Powerstone series REALLY benefits from a widescreen image over a VGA signal. Furthermore, Forced Widescreen looks mostly terrible when displayed on a larger sets. I have a Vizio 26' LED TV and it looks pretty good for a set that size ;)

But to each his own. Because you dislike it SO much, my next score attempt was performed on my Flat CRT 30' TV via an Svideo signal for your viewing pleasure 8-)

I have my DC VGA plugged on an old 17' PC monitor (not CRT though), looks better in the right 4:3 aspect ratio IMO ;)

That score  Does someone know what's the world record for Power Stone 2?

I just extended the competition another week! CD AGES score has been counted so he is now in the lead with 401,000! Have at it guys! I plan on giving this another try but mainly just to get some of the achievements. I don't expect to get anywhere near you guys!

Oh I'm sure it does. One of my multiple DC setups is one using a 14' LCD monitor and another using a DeLL 18' monitor. both run on a 4:3 aspect ration and they look great too as you can see from the pic below.

Nope. Fighters aren't usually mastered with an emphasis on score attack, but in decisive victories instead. This is why found this competition very interesting to participate in. I don't consider myself a master of the game, but I DO consider myself well versed in just about every major/minor detail with regards to the game. Mind you, it was rather experimental for me to take everything i know about game, and use it towards a completely different objective as oppose to simply achieving a swift KO which is usually the name of the game for the genre.

Using the monitors i've mentioned for a duel screen VS. setup. A must for hardcore fighting enthusiasts.
