Installed the clear blue shell!

Got my replacement dreamcast in the mail today, ( last one took a crap), and installed the blue shell. I'm loving the look! I won the shell on ebay two weeks ago after waiting forever for a blue one.

Looks real nice. How much did you win it for?

Thanks! It was a chunk of change. $70 shipped next day (surprisingly enough). I paid it though because I had been waiting so long for them to pop back up. :D

Yikes! that is a chunk of change indeed. So long as its in good condition and you are happy with it. It looks real nice! I love my blue and pink transparent shells too ;)

Pink? I'd love to see that! Fortunately, this one was new in box. Not a single mark. I'm turnin the white shell into a gloss yellow "crazy taxi" edition (fan made console). I'll be sure to post pics too! :)

That looks nice, did it come with the logo sticker?

I think a blue swirl one might look good.

These case shells don't have any logo or markings associated with product its intended for. And considering the OP mentioned buying it as new, I'm gonna assume thats a no.

In that case I would be interested in finding out where he got his stickers from as it looks great.

Hey there! I followed RetroGameTech's youtube video where he put his DC in a yellow shell. I used my wife's hair dryer and a scalpel to peel it off the old dreamcast case, (came off with no hassle), and then super glued It to the blue shell as there is a spot for the old sticker on there! :)
