I uploaded a new version with achievements and a few polish fixes here:

Of course I can't guarantee I didn't break something in the process, since I don't currently have a working Dreamcast that can play CD-R's to test it with. Anyone want to be a guinea pig for me, and if it works inform whomever it is that runs that site everyone is downloading the ROM from?
So yes, this version is supposed to have achievements on the Dreamcast. Anyone who is hardcore enough to make it past level 2 (that's as far as I can go so far), go ahead and PM me and let me know how it works for you.

Our scene is just incredibly "loyal". Malicious gossip has it that we buy just everything DC-related and because of that, I'm happy everytime an exceptional game, like the titles mentioned in the other thread, emerges. Quality stuff. Völgarr came out of nowhere for me and now in my eyes could be something like a pioneer, be it as an example of a "retrostyle game" on a real retro machine, an example that supporting the Dreamcast does pay off even for professional devs from outside the "retro scene" or as the first important title of a new publisher.
