BREATH OF THUNDER - NEW JRPG heading to Sega Dreamcast and Sega Saturn

Post by gamesreup »

A brand new kickstarter is taking place for a new JRPG across multiple platforms. Called Breath of Thunder.

Most are to be achieved via stretch goals.

It's a pretty ambitious kickstarter, so be interesting to see how it pans.

Here's a few link to check out if your interested.

Very good game idea but unfortunately the packs offered are uninteresting.
To have a digital version you still have to pay 60 AUD...
Without counting the levels to unlock the versions, for the Dreamcast with 152,000 AUD it is unattainable !

The Dreamcast planned port of this is no longer the case as well as many of the other stretch goal planned ports. Thats a real shame.

The dev canceled all legacy console port goals but said that if the game gets funded he would work with the community to make a free port for the console they want, but it would be a slow process

Guys, I've been following this guy for quite awhile and have been a fan of his work. He's extremely passionate about what he does, he has a track record of pumping out games for at least PSVita, 3DS, and Switch relatively quickly, and he's also done a Poke'mon Mini game to prove he knows what he's doing with lower level platforms closer to the hardware... He's one of the hardest working indie developers I have ever personally seen, which I also respect (and envy, lol).

I just wanted to say that I reached out to him and got this response earlier today:

I really, truly hope this guy gets funded. If you guys are interested, lets show him that the Dreamcast scene is where the party is at!
