Yes. That's what I did back then after @Impulse had discovered that bug.
We successfully got a burned cdi working online thanks to the advice from the people here.
Right now Mechanic is working on the 2 maps that did not work anymore and putting fun custom loading screens for each of the 33 new levels.
Everyone who would like to put a picture in the game can send one to Mechanic or me here or on Discord.
Update time:
One newly added map performed very poorly and will be completely left out.
Map14 the UT space ship continuous to refuse to work and might also get kicked out which brings us down to 31 new maps.
Mechanic will add the rest of the pictures he received from the community as custom loading screens. After that we do a last round of testing with a GDI and a burned CDI and when everything is in working order we can get
the full version out to everyone.
A couple servers to play on will be provided hosted from the US and Europe when the final version comes out as well as the software needed to host your own servers.
Final test with burned cdi was successful.
The Quake 3 Custom Map Pack will officially launch next Fragnight (Friday January 19. 8pm EST)
GDI and CDI will become available for download probably on Thursday this week.
Everyone interested in hosting servers can contact Mechanic personally after the launch event to get the software and some additional information and advice needed to get Quake 3 going.
