good for you! I'm not sure what to expect with this game, as in, I don't know whether I should keep my expectations low or not, I only decided to pre-order it within the last month and I don't know that much about it

I've unfortunately spoiled most of the game for myself by watching lots of videos of the neo geo version - but at least I know there are a lot of cool and unexpected aspects of the levels and of the overall game! Apparently the DC version is getting a few minor graphical updates over the neogeo version too - like more explosions and particles on the screen at a time, b/c of the greater power of the DC over the neo. They also used transparency in Fast Striker on DC where the neo had none (neo can't do it), so there will probably be transparency for some weapons or something like that as well.

sounds good, I watched a short gameplay video so hopefully there'll be a load of surprises for me with Gunlord, I got an email yesterday saying it had been dispatched so now I just have to wait for the international mail!! will let you all know what I think of the game when I get it :)

EDIT: how awesome is this? My copy arrived today in lightspeed time! Can't wait to try it out, I will hopefully upload some gameplay in a week or two as well

look forward to hearing other players thoughts

nice, I found myself really enjoying playing it to be fair, it reminded me of those golden days in the 80s when you knew you were playing a game made with love by a small development team who simply made the game for people to enjoy playing it, its VERY old school. I have recorded some footage and will upload it hopefully tonight

You really believe that?...

how do you mean mate? that probably wasn't their only reason for making the games lol, I can just feel the old school small development team vybe from it, it reminds me of atari lynx games or master system games of old... I am 30 years old don't forget, and hey my memory is probably totally biased anyway

I'd say Duranik fits your description much more. Those guys started on the Jaguar of all things. And they certainly have a much better package for a much more reasonable price. Everything just feels less 'milky milky' and more 'fanboy enthousiast'...

This was their first project on Jaguar by the way...

I have all respect for Duranik and for redspotgames. For one, without redspotgames there would be no Border Down or Trizeal for Dreamcast. As for Duranik, just look at Sturmwind. It's self-explanatory...

But Hucast / Reduxgame, meh... One only has to look at the different packages and according prices to see the difference. And that's without talking about the developer's personality. An arrogant douchebag...

I know I've had my problems with Hucast in the past, and that probably makes me more biased. But that doesn't mean I'm wrong. Negative experiences yield negative feedback. Plain and simple...

On top of that, someone well respected and pretty high up the chain has confirmed my beliefs about Hucast / Reduxgames. Let's just keep it at that...

Hey, I can't help it if they give themselves 15 different names.

Hucast, reduxgames, NG.Dev team. All the same guys...

As for redspot. Yes, I know, it's a publisher. I just mentioned them because they are obviously that fanboy type Ultra was talking about...
