An all in one 56k modem/BBA would be one of the coolest 3rd party peripherals I think, I’d love to see a company invest in developing this and I’m sure it would help build the online community too!

This whole thing is badass. Would you ever consider taking commissions to make one of these if someone supplied the parts? I’m not confident in doing the work myself but I do have everything I’d need atm.

Oh! And if not, did ya happen to have the STL files for the casing? :)

I don't have an STL model because I didn't use a 3D printer.
to make the case I used a sheet of plastic, cyanoacrylate glue and baking soda

The modem and BBA use different data buses with common pins, so they can be used at the same time.
BBA-ready games (Q3, PSO, Toy Racer, etc.) are connected through it.
The rest of the games are connected via a modem.
When I started making the combo I assumed I would have to put in a modem kill switch, but SEGA took care of that and made the BBA a top priority. :)
Man, that's crazy awesome!!! Then is it possible to merge a regular BBA to a regular modem and create a hybrid connection device?
