Alien front online racing wheel not recognized

Hello,

I've just tried to play alien front online with my mad katz mc2 racing wheel to be closer to the arcade original.

The wheel has a switch to change from wheel to analog controller, but even in wheel mod the game recognize it as a controller.

The wheel works fine with other games as Daytona.

Does somebody know why?

For information, the game is US and the wheel PAL but it should not change anything.

The game would have to have wheel support for the wheel to work correctly

The game have wheel support even if it's not written on the box. In the option there is a special controller mapping reserved for the wheel.

I just tried out the wheel controls with a Saturn wheel and converter. You have to be on control preset 7. It has a pop up message about wheel controls. Press B at that point. If you press A it goes to preset 1. Maybe that's what you were doing?

Yes, it's happening exactly the same to me.
Maybe it only works with the official wheel.

What do you mean its happening exactly the same? I'm saying it works for me.

I do as you do but when I start playing the wheel behave as a controller (I cant move front or rear as there is no analog up or down on the wheel). I think the controller preset go back to 1 when I leave the option.

Did you try playing with the wheel?

Forward and back are mapped to L and R

On my mad catz, the L/R button are still mapped to starf even in preset 7.
