how to get get a free isp in canada and get faster connect times via dial up

greetings everyone this is balie here now heres a method of connecting your dreamcast online using what I like to call the faux isp method and the speed dial method now you will need a net zero isp like me but heres the thing here in Canada they discontinued offical support for netzero dial up so what you will need to do is make a fake free isp (as the name implies) so go to netzero select free dial up and then fill out the fourm the way you will have to do this is if you live in Ontario you will need your information and then when you get to the billing enter in your street name and then enter this

Ontario CA EAST method
(street: your street name here)
(city/town: niagrara falls) (state/province:NY)
(zip code:00000)

British Colombia/CA WEST method
(street: your street name here)
(city/town: Vancouver) (state/province: WA)
(Zip code:00000)

what this will do is it will make the isp think you live in the states but what your actually doing is typing in the name of the state that has the closest border to where you live

after that enter in your the isp you want and then check your email if you received it that means it worked

afterwards enter the info into XDP 3 (PlanetWeb 2.6 homebrew beta) and dial and it will work
now onto the speed dial method

the way to connect your dreamcast online via dial up with dsl like speeds is you will need a few things mostly stuff you can find at a home depot or an el cheapo dollar store

you will need
1 one way phone cord
2 phone splitters (2/5 jacks is plenty)
5 two way phone cords
and 2 or 5/10 dsl filters

the way to do this is
1. plug the one way phone cord into the wall
2. plug the phone splitter into the one way phone cords jack
3. plug the dsl filters into the splitters jacks
4. plug the 2nd phone splitter into the dreamcasts modem
5. plug all 2/5 plugs into the splitter coming from the modem

after this load up planet web once again and dial
what this will do is make the connection much faster as normal dial up runs at 56k while doing this will run twice or more the speed and you don't even need a Netopia
well I gotta go hopefully the dreamcast gets more online games and hopfully in the future homebrew dlc
