We're getting the PlayStation online! Yes, the PSX. :D

We're using the R2020 / Viking Set-Up, and right now everything works except for it actually opening up a web-page. The last thing you see is an ANSI 5n request, and then it hangs. The Saturn display the same ANSI line (more or less, it minorly changes based on Hayes Commands).

Any ideas?

I never knew that. Now only if it were to caught on. I was so a PS1 junky as a kid.

Can anyone with a Viking DLE-200B confirm if there is any power indicator on the unit? Also wondering the polarity on the AC adapter? I cannot get mine to blink or do anything using an aftermarket AC adapter with matching voltage enough amperage.

There isn't one as far as I know. It only lights up when it gets a signal. You should have 13.8 volts at 1.25 amps going into your phone simulator.

Ya The DLE-200 only lights on when a line is picked up or "off hook"
and the output voltage is 13.8v AC 1.25A remember that's AC output!
the polarity tested Negative inner the center/pin or Tip , Positive outer
Which would be tip Negative polarity right?

Yes that would be tip negative, correct. Thanks for the info. I may just have a dead unit. Can't find a good tls 2 or 3 for a reasonable price.

UPDATE: After swapping the polarity of the AC adapter I can sometimes see the light come on for a split second. One time I got it to make a click noise while dialing out to it and it flashed a couple of times and then turned off.

I am having trouble resetting my netopia 2020. I am putting a paper clip into the slot, but never meet resistance or hit a button. Does anyone have a video or picture?

It's a little tricky. It takes a bit of work to get it in the right way. Just keep trying.

I have gotten the point where my netopia will answer my dreamcast, but it seems to be angry after they make the handshake. I am getting the following on the Netopia logs.

Any thoughts?

Edit: Well fixed my own issue. On the IP Profile Parameters, I had "Negotiate LAN IP Addr/Mask" set to Yes. Changed it no and I connected to the internet with my dreamcast!
