Were you able to see dreampipe.net?Deathcyde wrote:um....what should I do now?
Did you try connecting the Pi directly to the modem to see if that worked yet?
Just curious on the results

kk, I was hoping it would work with the modem so we can narrow it down to your router lol. But some ISP's may require a router to work. If it didn't work with either I'd start to think you have a defective ras pi. I assume you've also re-flashed the Dreampi 1.6 software? If you have Quake 3, I'd see if that connects too.

nope quake doesnt work eather. how could it be a defective pi? it worked just fine once and then just stoped. if it was defective wouldnt it jusy not turn on or even connect at all?

Re: pi wont connect to pso
Just a guess on that. I'm actually wondering if your Dreamcast modem is defective.. I mean your pi does connect and can ping google just fine. I know a few members here have had their dial up modems crap out on them. If you have a PS2 or some other dial up modem like on a PC, you could always connect it up with the pi and you should be able to surf the web the same way as you would if you were connecting the dreamcast as the dreampi is just a dialup simulator. But because its worked before and suddenly stopped maybe the DC has actually just broke on you. I really hope we can figure this dang issue out!
Good news is Dial up modems are dirt cheap http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dreamcast-Modem ... Sw4CFY6nfU
