PAL Voltage Inducer

Post by Janus456 »

Hi guys,

I'm really keen to get my DC back online and it all looks simple enough except for the Line voltage inducer. I have no skills at all to create and solder one myself so I've been looking online to buy them but I can't see any that seem to be for the PAL voltage version.

Does anyone know of anywhere that makes these or if anyone in the forum happens to have one spare I'm happy to pay the going rate.

Any help would be massively appreciated

Cheers!

Janus

My modems don't yet support PAL, But I do see that dreamcast live now has some PAL Lvi's available.

Hey, can you correct my interpretation if I'm wrong with notice to wire orders and direction:

Use a usb lead and voltage booster. No batteries required then. That's what I did

I thought on trying that but since I have a PAL modem I figured it wouldn't be enough.

Either way can you confirm me the order o your wire? That's what I'm getting some confusion.

Since the RJ11 cable is crossed, the red wire starts at position #3 and ends in #4 or vice-versa, depending on the order of your cable. Can you confirm me what position does it start on the raspberry pi side and what position does it end on you Dreamcast side?
