Cannon Spike worth this much?

Granted it's e-bay prices but i had no idea that my copy was so valuable.
If it is I'm gonna have to wrap it up safely.

a game is worth what you're willing to pay for it, but in this case: pretty much

mine is still sealed too, I use the white label if I want to play it

The only true indicator of what people are willing to actually pay is "sold" auctions

Needless to say, that's still pretty high. Over the past 3 years, I noticed that many of the already high priced games (ie Project Justice, Under Defeat) have stayed around where they were, but there are several games that greatly increased in price during this time such as US Gigawing 2, Mars Matrix, Tech Romancer and PAL Evil Twin, Rez and Shenmue II. I don't think we've seen the end of price inflation for DC games and it seems like Capcom titles and low print run games in particular will always be desirable.

It looks like zombie revenge prices are on the rise too. I'm gonna pick up a very nice copy next week.

Iv'e wrapped cannon spike along with record of lodoss war in plastic and put them in a sealed cardboard box.
I'm gonna get a proper shelf unit with doors and a key to lock it. I'll need it for my Dc collection as I intend to build it up over time.
I wonder what game I could source cheap in my local area...

Nice. I just realised that my copy of zero gunner 2 goes for crazy prices too, its going to be securely packed away now. I'll have to swap out the jewel case as it has a minor crack upon it. Can the exact same jewel case be purchased online?

I could otherwise buy a cheap jap game online just to get the jewel case.

Lol what is all this talk about packing away your games. If you are a careful adult, you shouldn't be causing any wear to the discs by taking them out of the jewel case and putting them in your DC from time to time. I'd keep playing them ;) At least that's what I choose do with my rarities (Project Justice, Under Defeat, Karous, Ikaruga etc)

Yeah, maybe. Burned copies could be played too though, to save the discs. Also how presumptuous of you to assume that I was a careful adult!
Many of my games were slung in a box under a bed till recently, where they lay for years. I want to take care of them from now on as I'm really loving my DC recently. Iv'e been playing the indie releases only for the last few years.

Quick, quick everybody pack all your games away in cardboard boxes, yipee!

Yup, I don't play sports game much except for virtua tennis back in the day, racers I like, sometimes. I like streetfighter style beat em ups but I'm not very good at them. We really need a streets of rage style game on the dc. Perhaps one day watermelon will port "Project Y" to the dc, they hinted as much.

I have become addicted to shmups in recent times, funny, I bought dc indie games mostly to support the scene which were mostly shmups. At some point I really warmed to the genre, I guess I figured, I bought the damn games so I ought to at least play them once or twice... Also Zero gunner 2 is one of my favourite DC games. I bought it after the dc died in europe and there was a drought of new games.
