Anyone have any info on this particular piece of DC hardware?
Thanks in advance.

Re: What is this exactly?
A quick Google search for the model number (SFL-2000P1) shows it's a prototype Dreamcast kiosk unit. Can't really find much else on it. Never seen this before. Very interesting.

My friend won the auction

And you appear to be right on what it is. I completely forgot about that small venture Sega did with the hardware. Remember reading about it on the Official US Magazine. Goodtimes.

How did these units load software? It doesn't seem like there is a disc drive.
And for that matter, where do you suppose the controller/keyboard ports would be?

Actually there is a DD which I think is located on the right side of the unit. You push in and the disc tray pops out.dark wrote:How did these units load software? It doesn't seem like there is a disc drive.
