oh ok whoops I forgot about Flintstones and PBA I actually have both of those lol, and I have another one thats like a tech demo basically? its called something like defender and you control a gun turret that takes out enemies who keep attacking. So can I get Hellgate from anywhere that does DC CDI's or is it a bit of a trek to find? Is it worth the effort to get a copy? I mean is it complete and does it play ok? thanks mate

Can't wait for Geist Force!!

@DCUltrapro: It was called Defense Commander, and it was a tech demo created by Microsoft to test network connectivity between the Dreamcast and windows PC's.

Also, you can get Hellgate here.

Probably. The more recent releases have concentrated on getting the loading times down so are much better than earlier versions in that respect.

Yeah, the version I uploaded there and all the mods are using the same methods that Tuxthewise uses to make the game silent whilst loading, and puts the data on the outside of the disc for faster loading. The game itself and it's mods load maps in 15 seconds as opposed to the 30 seconds from the original scene release.

Also, many of the mods have working saves, and blow other FPS games out of the water on the system. Paranoia pushes the limits of the Dreamcast, and runs at about a stable 45fps.

I have never completed the game on PC or Dreamcast, I guess I don't have the patience. :P

Anyway, not to take this off topic, so what I read in the interview on the front page of the site was awesome, they are being truthful and are not hiding anything. Good way to earn our trust and respect. Lets hope we can get some screenshots of in game sometime soon when they have something good to show.
