I'm interested in a copy for Dreamcast and will pledge- we get a lot of shmups and this is something different.

Ok, thank you.
I made a poll, let's see...

I'll go for option 3. Depends on the conditions of the Kickstarter.

By the way, the Kim K. replacement is much much better... ;)

What conditions you have in mind?

What would be included in the different tiers. Prices. Possible limited editions / collectability. Time before completion. Etc...

Its usually the norm for independent dc games to be released in regular and special edition versions- special editions usually have the soundtrack on a second disk, different artwork on the box and maybe some stickers or something. Regular editions are cheaper than special editions obviously. So the special editions are limited in numbers being made in less quantities.

I would like to know if there is an interest in the Dreamcast version from the community here? I am preparing for the Kickstarter and I am not sure if I keep the Dreamcast stretch goal.

The Dreamcast version is a very niche thing, and would like to know if you guys here are interested and possibly how many of you actually are?

Currently I put the Dreamcast stretch goal between the full game experience and the console versions, but if there is no sign of desire for this version I will remove the Dreamcast stretch goal to keep the funding costs down.

Let me know please here if anyone is actually interested in seeing Shadow Gangs on the Dreamcast;

Thank you.

If you want the answer to that, might I suggest you post it here with a poll https://www.facebook.com/groups/3774607 ... ts&fref=ts

With a vid and some explanation, you'll reach a bigger crowd faster than on any forum simply coz it will be shared to other groups faster

No pronlem, I like everything about it,,it has 90's written all over itsself. In fact the only thing that shows it isn't a 90's game imo is the graffiti of the blonde chick in the pink bikini, they used to draw the face & boobs differently back in the day. :x :x

If it comes to a DC version, I'm buying, as the console never got a decent shinobi game. In fact if I were you that's exactly how I'd promote it: Shinobi tribute for Dreamcast

It's Shinobi arcade at heart, that's true. But the final game will have influence from other arcade ninja games of the late 80's, either in the scenery or enemies or gameplay.

I am thinking to merge to do one stretch goal that will have all the consoles versions (including the Dreamcast).
I'll see how it goes after I post on Facebook.

It seems that a Dc version will now be a part of the kickstarter from the get go- great news! I was going to back a pc version originally but now that there is a DC version I'm backing that.
