My first thoughts of this game was, "it looks very dated". I'll explain more about that later in the review. I saw this game on Ebay for the first time in my life. It looked like an very interesting game that I may have overlooked in the past. It was only a 1 cent auction with $6 shipping. I decieded to purchase it. I was also happy becuase it was brand new, sealed.

The game arrives, I take a look at the cracked, yes, "cracked" case. That was a huge disapointment, I guess it was cracked during shipping.  I took a look at the back of the case, the game looks cool so far. Pretty simple low budget looking game. The graphics look pretty fair on the menu screen. I start to play the game in aracade mode just to test it out. So far, im not impressed. But then again did I really expect to be? LoL

I started up campaign mode. Sad to say, but so far it looks very dated. Kinda like a Nintendo 64 game with better resolution. The basics of the game: Drive around in an array of different vehicles to save your base from alien infiltration. Some of the vehicles are, Tanks, Helicopters, Turret guns, Harrier Jets, etc. Go through different phases to defend the alien attacks. In each phase you switch to a different vehicle.  On the first level there are 10 different phases. The phases got as repeative as hell. That was one of the worst parts of the game. Other than that, the explosions were pretty awesome looking. The funnest part of the game was when you enter turret mode. You also have a secondary weapon on each vehicle that could be a missle bomb etc.

THE Verdict

Well... thats my thoughts on the game. Its not the best, but its worth a try. If you like adventure/IDK know what the hell you would call this game, then you should give it a try. But, most of all, if you're looking for a super awesome DC game, then dont try this one.
